3.3 I/O Port Settings

NMEA1 and NMEA2 ports
NMEA 1 and NMEA 2 ports are used to connect external navigation equipment such as an
autopilot and radar. Set up the ports according to equipment connected.
1. Press the [MENU] key to open the menu.
2. Press the [0] and [5] keys to show the I/O SETUP menu.

TURN KNOB TO SELECT MENU.
SELECT THE ITEM OF EACH MENU BY TRACKBALL.
3. Rotate the knob to choose NMEA FORMAT of the NMEA1 I/O PORT 1 or NMEA1 I/O
PORT 2 and then roll the trackball rightward or leftward to choose NMEA format of the
equipment connected to that port.
