9. Press the [GAIN] key.
10. Confirm that the gain setting is 5.0.
11. Push the knob.
12. Press the [RANGE] key.
13. Rotate the knob to set the range to 10 m.
14. Push the knob.

If the bottom echo is displayed in reddish-brown and the depth indication appears the
transducer position is suitable. Let the transducer dry 24-72 hours.
