4. Pass the cable assy. through the OPTION grommet and connect it to J13 on the MAIN
Board.
5. Fix the GPS receiver assy. on top of the MAIN Board (14P0379). Use one of the screws
to fasten the ground terminal of the cable assy.
6. Reconnect J15 and J7, disconnected at step 3.
7. Confirm that the waterproofing gasket on the rear cover is properly seated in its groove
and then set the rear cover to the display unit.
8. Fasten nuts and washer (for antenna connector) removed at step 1. The torque for the
nuts is as shown below.
Antenna nut: 1.37 ±0.1 Nm
Other nuts:
0.76 ±0.02 Nm
9. Fix the rear cover with the 15 binding screws unfastened at step 1. The torque for the
screws is 0.6 ±0.06 Nm.
Handling the Coaxial Cable
• Wear gloves when touching the connector.
• Use radio pincers to disconnect, and lift
vertically.
• Use radio pincers to connect, and insert
vertically.
• The allowable load on the cable is as
shown in the drawing below.
