13. Remove center shaft assembly by tapping on
opposite side with a soft face hammer.
NOTE: Be sure drain plug is removed, or magnet will in-
terfere with gear.
14. Remove the remaining gears and shafts as an
assembly. Rotate the shift bellcrank with a 1/2"
wrench to aid in removal.
15. Remove pinion gear retaining plate and pinion gear
assembly.
