Place Original(s).
Refer to Placing Originals (Facsimile/Internet
Fax) in the Operating Instructions (For Basic
Operations) of provided booklet.

Press the Fax key.

Select "Basic Menu".

Select "Quality Adj.".

Adjust the original quality, and then
select "OK".
Original Type
Select for text-only
originals.
Select for originals in
which text and photos
are mixed.
Select for photo-only
originals.
If a photo original is scanned in "Text"
mode, the scanned image can be
indistinguishable in the halftone area.
Density
If you wish to scan a original
with lighter contrast, select the
button to reduce the contrast
level. Each time the button is
selected, the original will be
scanned lighter.
If you wish to scan a original
with darker contrast, select the
button to increase the contrast
level. Each time the button is
selected, the original will be
scanned darker.
