Error Description
Mutual Disturbance light is received.
interference error
The receiver is receiving light
emitted from another photoelectric
switch or F3SJ.
Power supply Power supply voltage is outside
capacity error the rated range.
Voltage fluctuation due to
insufficient power supply capacity.
Instantaneous break or
instantaneous stop due to power
sharing with other devices.
Communication The communication line or other
error wiring is broken or short-circuited.
Communication error due to
noise.
A power cable or series
connection cable connector is
detached.
Connection positions are reversed
for emitter(s) and receiver(s)
under series connection.
Failure of F3SJ's internal circuit.
Lockout of other A sensor other than the primary
sensor than the receiver is in lockout when series-
primary receiver connected.

Cause
Block the disturbance light.

Connect to a 24VDC± 20% power
supply voltage.
Replace the power supply with
one that has a larger capacity.
Do not share the power supply
with other devices, and connect to
a power supply that is dedicated
to devices for electrical-detection
protective functions, such as the
F3SJ, safety controller, muting
sensor, etc.
Check the wiring and cables.
Check the noise level in the
environment around the
communication line.
Check connectors of power cable
and series-connection cables.
Correct connection positions of all
F3SJ's emitters and receivers.
Replace the F3SJ.
Solve the problem of an emitter or
F3SJ in a series connection.
