Remove
the
spring,
diaphragm and
boot.
Remove
the accelerator
link
bolt, collar
and washer
Remove
the four
screws and
the
float
chamber.
Remove
the
following:

Float pin
—
Float
—
Float
votve
Inspoct the
float
valve
for
grooves
and
nicks,
and
replace
if
necessary.
Inspect the operation of the valve.
Remove
the following:
—
Main
jet
—
Needle
jet
holder
—
Needle
jet
—
Slow
jet
Turn
the
pilot
screw
in
and
record
the
number
of
turns
bofore
it
seats
lightly.
Use
this
as
a
roferonce
for reinstalls-

Damage
to
the pilot
.trim
seat
will
occur
If the pilot
i
crew
Is
tight
enrd
aguiasi
the
irai.
Remove
the
pilot
screw.
Inspect the
pilot
screw and each
jet
and
replace
them
if
they
are
worn
or
damaged.
Blow open
all
carburetor
body
openings
with
compressed
air.
