FRONT WHEEL/SUSPENSION/STEERING
Remove
the
fort
piston
end rebound
spring
from
the fort
F0R * P'STON
tube.

REBOUND SPRING
Remove
the
oil seal,
back-up
ring
and
slider
bushing from
the
fort
tube.
NOTE
•
Do
not
remove
the
fork
tube bushing unless
it
is
neces-
sary to replace
it
with
a
new
one.

Fork
spring
Measure
the
fork spring
free
length
SERVICE

Fork tube/slider/piston
Check
the
fort tube, fort
slider, oil lock
piece and
fort piston
for
score marks, and
excessive or
abnormal
wear.
Check
the fork piston ring
for
wear
or
damage.
Check
the
rebound
spring
for
fatigue or
damage.
Replace
the
components
if
necessary.
