Swingarm Installation; Brake Pedal Removal - Honda rebel 250 Service Manual

REAR WHEEL/BRAKE/SUSPENSION
INSTALLATION
Install the
swingarm
into
the frame,
and
insert the pivot
bolt
from
the
left
side.
Install
and tighten the pivot nut
to
the specified torque.
TORQUE:

m

Install
the
shock absorber lowor mounting
bolts
and
tighten
them
to
the specified torque.
TORQUE:
42
N-m
(4.3 kgf-rn,

lbf-ft}
Install
the
drive
chain cover
and
tighten the
bolts.
Install
the rear brake pedal return spring.
Install
the rear wheel (page
13-8>.
BRAKE PEDAL
REMOVAL
Remove
the adjusting
nut.
brake rod
and
spring
from
the
rear
brake arm.
Disconnect
the
brake pedal
return spring
from
the
swing-
arm.
Disconnect the brake switch
spring.
