Some GPS use the battery ground for NMEA
connection.
Check the output signal format of the GPS
navigation receiver. This radio requires
NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 format with
GLL, RMB, or RMC sentence as an output
signal. If the GPS has a baud rate setting
make sure to select 4800 and parity to
NONE.
