4.1 Introduction
The Optica is programmed at the factory to display and output the data required for many applications (see Table 4 on
page 35). In these cases, no further programming is required.
By programming the Optica, the following categories of data can be customized for your application:
the front panel display (up to six parameters displayed numerically and, on the VGA screen, a graphical display)

Analog outputs
•
Serial output
•
Built-in alarms
•
Datalogging
•
Miscellaneous functions

4.2 Programming Fundamentals
Programming is accomplished using two main menu screens and several secondary screens. Each screen displays data

When a data field is selected, you can change the value of the field as described in "Data Entry Fields" on
