4.5.3 Alarms

For more information on using the alarms, see "Alarm Outputs" on page 16.
Item
Alarm
Choose which alarm relay is being programmed.
Status
Set whether or not the alarm is enabled.
Parameter*
Set the parameter that can activate this alarm.
Units*
Set the units for this parameter.
Type
Set the type of condition that will activate the alarm
Upper*
The upper side of the alarm band
Lower*
The lower side of the alarm band
*These fields are ignored if the alarm is set to Control, Service, or PACER.
The
Upper
and
Lower
limits set the alarm thresholds as described below for each alarm type (see details in "Alarm
Outputs" on page 16):
alarm activates when parameter exceeds upper limit, and deactivates when parameter is less than
SetPoint:
lower limit.
alarm activates when parameter is between upper and lower limits.
Inner Band:
alarm activates when parameter is outside upper and lower limits.
Outer Band:
alarm activates when Optica is actively controlling mirror temperature.
Control:
alarm activates when Service indicator is activated.
Service:

PACER:
