Erasing specified areas of copies ("Frame Erase"
function)
Copies can be produced by erasing unwanted areas around the document,
such as the transmission information on received faxes and the shadows of
punched holes.
With frame erasing, the same width can be erased along all four sides of the
document or a different width can be erased along each side of the docu-
ment.

Position the document to be copied.
For details on positioning the document, refer to "Feeding the doc-
ument" on page 2-8.

Touch [Application], and then touch [Frame Erase].
To cancel changes to the settings for all Application functions,
press the [Reset] key. All changes to the settings are canceled.
The Frame Erase screen appears.
