Configuring BootP on the current instance of the switch or
server
About this task
The default operational mode for BootP on the switch is BootP or DefaultIP. The switch
requests an IP address from BootP only if one is not already set from the console terminal (or
if the IP address is the default IP address 192.168.1.1).
Procedure
1. Enable Global Configuration mode in ACLI:
