D-STAR OPERATION <ADVANCED>

■ Your (destination) call sign programming

A Your (destination) call sign can be manually pro-
grammed.
The Your (destination) call sign is set to "TO," you can
make a call to a station, even if you don't know where
the station is currently located.
Up to 200 Your call signs can be programmed.
Push [MENU]

) to select the root item ("DV Memo-

ry"), and then push D-pad(Ent).

) to select "Add," and then push D-

pad(Ent) to enter the edit mode.

) to select "NAME," and then push D-

Rotate [DIAL] to select a desired character.

(For example: T)
• Selectable input characters are Upper case letters, Low-
er case letters, Numbers or Symbols.
• The selected character blinks.
• Push D-pad() to move the cursor backward or forward.
• While selecting a character, push [QUICK]
the character to an upper case or lower case letter.
• While selecting a digit, push [QUICK]
input mode selection window.
• A space can be entered in any input mode selected.
• Rotate [DIAL] counter clockwise to enter a space.
• Push [CLR]
to delete the selected character, or hold
down [CLR]
to continuously delete the characters,
first to the right, and then to the left of the cursor.
• See page 2-7 for programming details.
