Software update

Information on software updates

The multimedia system provides a message
when an update is available.
Depending on the source, you can perform vari‐
ous updates:
Software update

Performing a software update

Requirement:
An Internet connection is required for updates
which are obtained online (
page 249).

ble in all countries.

The multimedia system is reset to the factory
settings.
Personal data is deleted, for example:
Station presets

Connected mobile phones

Select Yes.

A prompt appears asking whether you wish
to reset.
No selected: the process is canceled.
Select Yes.
