3.5.3 Installation of Optional Components

(1) Extension Memory Installation
Note! • You must use genuine Oki Original. Otherwise, the memory will not work.
• A 64MB memory is installed as standard in the memory slot. If you use a 256MB
memory, remove the 64MB memory before use.
Switch the power supply of the MFP off and pull out the electric cord.
Note! If installed with the switch on, an electric shock or a trouble to the MFP may occur.
Open the top cover.
Eliminate static electricity by touching a screw.
