7.5
Warning

Adapt your braking to the traffic situation and the road conditions.
Warning
Danger of accidents Reduced braking due to wet or dirty brakes.
Clean or dry dirty or wet brakes by riding and braking gently.
Warning
Danger of accidents Reduced braking efficiency caused by spongy pressure point of front or rear brake.
Check the brake system and do not continue riding. (Your authorized KTM workshop will be glad to help.)
Warning
Danger of accidents Failure of brake system.
If the foot brake lever is not released, the brake linings drag permanently. The rear brake can fail due to overheating. Take your
foot off the foot brake lever if you do not want to brake.
If the engine stalls (e.g. at a crossroads), pull the clutch lever only and press the starter
button. You do not need to shift into neutral.
Switch off the engine if you expect to be standing for a long time.
If the FI warning lamp (MIL) lights up during a trip, stop immediately. When you shift to
neutral, the FI warning lamp (MIL) starts to flash.
Info
From the flashing rhythm, you can derive a two-digit number, the so-called blink
code. The blink code tells you which component has a fault.
