    H A PT ER Introduction The PMG5318-B20B combines a fiber optic (GPON) router with a built-in switch. Its voice over IP (VoIP) capabilities allow you to use a traditional analog telephone to make Internet phone calls. The GPON Device connects to the ISP’s OLT (Optical Line Terminal).

    Press the WPS button on a compatible device within 2 minutes of pressing the button on the GPON Device. The WLAN LED should flash in orange while the GPON Device sets up a WPS connection with the other wireless device. Once the connection is successfully made, the WLAN LED shines green.
