19.3 Wireless MAC Filter
Click Wireless > MAC Filter to open the MAC Filter screen. This screen allows you to configure
the GPON Device to give exclusive access to specific devices (Allow) or exclude specific devices
from accessing the GPON Device (Deny). Every Ethernet device has a unique MAC (Media Access
Control) address assigned at the factory. It consists of six pairs of hexadecimal characters, for
example, 00:A0:C5:00:00:02. You need to know the MAC addresses of the devices to configure this
screen.

Click Wireless > MAC Filter > Add to add a MAC address filter entry.

DESCRIPTION
Select an SSID for which to configure MAC filter settings.
Define the filter action for the list of MAC addresses in the MAC Address table.
Select Disabled to turn off MAC filtering.
Select Allow to permit access to the GPON Device. MAC addresses not listed will be denied
access to the GPON Device.
Select Deny to block access to the GPON Device. MAC addresses not listed will be allowed
to access the GPON Device.
This displays the MAC addresses of the wireless devices that are allowed or denied access to
the GPON Device.
Select entries and click the Remove button to delete them.
Click this to add a new MAC address entry to the table.
