LH. CRANKCASE COVER/KICK STARTER/CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION

KICK STARTER

REMOVAL
Remove.
LH. Crankcase cover
Movable drive face, driven pully
Gasket
Loosen the return spring stop plate securing bolt.
Remove the return spring.
Remove the starting shaft
Remove the starting idle gear.
Put the tool (pipe, etc)over the starting drive gear and
remove it beating lightly with hammer.
