Paper slots
front slot (available for use with the push or pull tractor)
For information on loading paper from the front slot, see
"Using the Tractor in the Front Push Position" or "Using the
Tractor in the Pull Position" in Chapter 3.
Note:
Because the front paper slot has an almost straight paper path, you
should use it when printing on thick paper, such as multi-part forms
(especialy if there are five or six parts) or continuous paper with labels.
bottom slot (available for use with the pull tractor only)
For information on loading paper from the bottom slot, see
"Using the Tractor in the Pull Position" in Chapter 3.
Note:
The bottom paper slot has the straightest paper path, so it is best
for printing on thick paper, such as multi-part forms or continuous
paper with labels.
When loading paper from the bottom slot, be sure to use a printer
stand with an opening large enough for the paper to feed through it
without obstruction.
