10 Configure the basic settings of the camera [Basic]

Default: 1s
[Maximum file size]
Select the maximum file size for recorded H.264 files (MP4 format).
2MB/20MB
Default: 20MB

[Audio recording]

Select whether or not to save audio data at the same time as recording H.264 images.
•
On: Saves audio data.
•
Off: Does not save audio data.
Default: Off
Note
•
The audio data format used when recording audio is AAC.
•
"Audio recording" is only available when "20MB" is selected for "Maximum file size".
•
"Audio recording" is only available when "Mic input" or "Interactive(Full-duplex)" is selected for "Audio
transmission/reception" on the [Audio] tab of the "Image/Audio" page. (®page 125)
•
Even if audio is recorded with images, only the images are played when data is played on the
"Playback" page. Recorded audio must be downloaded in order to be played back. (®page 44)

The volume used when saving audio data can be changed in "Mic input volume (Camera to PC)" on
the [Audio] tab of the "Image/Audio" page. (®page 125)
SD memory card information
[Remaining capacity]
Total capacity and remaining capacity of the SD memory card will be displayed.
Depending on the status of the SD memory card, the size indications will differ as follows.

When "Off" is selected for "Overwrite" and the available size of the SD memory card has reached "0
KB", images will not be saved on the SD memory card. When the notification function is on, a notification
E-mail will be sent to the registered addresses when the SD memory card becomes full.

[Format]
To format the SD memory card, click the [Execute] button.
IMPORTANT

Before formatting the SD memory card, it is necessary to select "Use" for "SD memory card" on the
[SD memory card] tab of the "Basic" page (®page 59) and "Off" for "FTP periodic image
transmission" on the [FTP img. trans.] tab of the "Network" page (®page 190).
•
Use the SD memory card after formatting it using the [SD memory card] tab. If using the SD memory
card that has not been formatted on the [SD memory card] tab, the following functions may not work
correctly.
