IMPORTANT
Select "Not use" when operating without an SD memory card.
Before removing the SD memory card from the camera, it is necessary to select "Not use" first. When
removing SD memory cards, make sure that the green indicator turns off when the SD ON/OFF button
is pressed and held down (about 2 seconds). The recorded data may become corrupted if the SD
memory card is removed when the SD MOUNT indicator is lit in green.
When an SD memory card is replaced after pressing and holding (about 2 seconds) the SD ON/OFF
button, press the SD ON/OFF button and confirm that the SD MOUNT indicator is lit in green. If the
SD ON/OFF button was not pressed, the SD MOUNT indicator will light in green for about 5 minutes
after replacing the SD memory card.
When an SD memory card is inserted when "Use" is selected, data will be saved in accordance with
the setting of "Save trigger".
After inserting the SD memory card, it is necessary to select "Use" to use the SD memory card.
When the image refresh interval is short, notification/recording timing or interval may become incorrect.
Notification/recording may also not be performed correctly as configured when multiple users are
receiving images. In this case, set the refresh interval longer.
There are limited times to overwrite on an SD memory card. When having a high frequency of
overwriting, the lifetime of the SD memory card may become shorter.
A lifetime of an SD memory card should be influenced by the number of the image files stored and log
savings on the SD memory card. Selecting "H.264(1)", "H.264(2)", "H.264(3)", or "H.264(4)" for
"Recording format" can reduce the number of files to be stored on the SD memory card.
If the data writing speed goes down after data is repeatedly written on an SD memory card, we
recommend replacing the SD memory card.

Operating mode

[Recording mode]

Set the recording mode to save data on the SD memory card.
Single recording: Recorded data is saved to either SD memory card 1 or SD memory card 2. Select this
setting when you want to save recorded data for long periods of time.
Dual recording: The same recorded data is saved to both SD memory card 1 and SD memory card 2.
This enables data to be saved even if one of the SD memory cards becomes damaged. Select this setting
if you want high reliability when saving data. If only one SD memory card (SD memory card 1 or SD memory
card 2) is set to "Use", images will only be saved on the SD memory card set to "Use".
Default: Single recording
Note
Even if dual recording is selected, data will not be saved if both SD memory card 1 and 2 are damaged.
When using dual recording, if the capacity of the SD memory cards connected to SD memory 1 and
SD memory card 2 are different, data will be saved up to the upper limit of the SD memory card with
smaller capacity.
When the setting of "Recording mode" is changed between "Single recording" and "Dual recording",
format the SD memory card.

[Audio recording]

Select whether or not to save audio data when saving video data in MP4 format.
Off: Does not save audio data to videos (MP4 format).
On: Saves audio data (AAC-LC format) to videos (MP4 format).
Default: Off
