13 Configure the alarm settings [Alarm]
[Image capture size]
Select the capture size of images to be transmitted to the FTP server, images to be attached to the alarm
E-mail, or images to be saved to the SD memory card.
When "2 mega pixel [16:9]" is selected for "Image capture mode"
1920x1080/640x360/320x180
When "1.3 mega pixel [16:9]" is selected for "Image capture mode"
1280x720/640x360/320x180
When "1.3 mega pixel [4:3]" is selected for "Image capture mode"
1280x960/VGA/QVGA

Default: 640x360
Note
•
When "2 mega pixel [16:9]" is selected for "Image capture mode", "1920x1080" can only be used when
it is saved to the SD memory card.
[Image compression rate upon alarm detection]
Select "On" or "Off" to determine whether or not to change the image quality of "Quality1" (®page 83) upon
alarm detection.
•
On: Images will be transmitted with the image quality selected for "Image quality upon alarm detection".
•
Off: Does not change the image quality upon alarm detection.
•
Default: Off
[Image quality upon alarm detection]
Image quality can be changed upon an alarm occurrence. Select the image quality from the following.
0 Super fine/ 1 Fine/ 2/ 3/ 4/ 5 Normal/ 6/ 7/ 8/ 9 Low

Default: 5 Normal

Click the [Alarm] tab on the "Alarm" page. (®page 47, page 49)
The settings relating to the recording H.264 data on the SD memory card when an alarm is detected can be
configured on this page. To operate recording, it is necessary to configure the settings relating to SD memory
card and the video data. (®page 59)
