Playback - Panasonic WJ-HD100 Operating Instructions Manual

The recording stops depending on the setup in the ALARM
SETUP menu as follows.
• Elapsing the preset duration stops recording when
DURATION is selected.
• Turning the alarm input to inactive stops recording
when MANUAL is selected.
• Pressing the [
CONTINUE is selected.
You may need to press the [
panel to stop alarm recording as the case may be.
DURATION and VMD are preset in the ALARM SETUP
menu (page 27).

Playback

Normal Playback
Recorded picture on the disk is played back sequentially.
DISPLAY SELECT
LCD CONTRAST
1. Press the [B PLAY] button to start playing back.
2. Press the JogDial [ PAUSE] to pause and to restart
playback.
3. Press the [ STOP] button to stop playback.
Skip Playback
Picture search is roughly available while quickly playing for-
ward or backward. The playback picture rate displayed on
the monitor is set to SKIP or SKIP & PLAY on the SYSTEM
SETUP window. Playback sequence for each is shown
below.

1. Press the [B PLAY] button to start playing back.
2. Press the [REW/FF] [1/2] button to start skip play-
back. The LED lights.
3. Rotate the JogDial clockwise to descend records (FF)
or counter-clockwise (REW) to ascend. The more turn-
ing you rotate the JogDial, the faster the picture will
change.
4. Press the [ STOP] button to stop playback.
Note: The SKIP playback may not perform perfectly
when a video multiplexer is installed in the system.
Step Playback
The desired still picture is searched minutely by displaying
field by field.
1. Press the [B PLAY] button to start playing back.
2. Press the [STEP] [A / B] button to start step playback.
The LED lights.
3. Rotate the JogDial clockwise to descend a frame to
later one or counter-clockwise to ascend it to the older
one.
4. Press the [ STOP] button to stop playback.
Note: Alarm recording may interrupt any of playback
modes. Set the ALARM SUSPEND to ON with the
LCD button if allowed. See page 38 for details.
