REC MODE
1. Move the cursor to DISK END MODE with the up [ ]
and down [ ] buttons.
2. Rotate the JogDial to select the desired parameter, then
press the JogDial. The default value is STOP.
[STOP]: Stops recording until other than [STOP] is set
in this setting.
[CONTINUE]: New picture overwrites from the disk
start.
[ALM CONTINUE]: Stops recording while no alarm
arises. Alarm recording overwrites from the disk
start when an alarm arises.
[SERIES]: New picture is recorded on the next disk
start until the disk end comes when series connec-
tion is applied. In loop connection new recording
continues to overwrite.
Disk End Buzzer Setup
205 DISK END BUZZER
The buzzer can be set to beep when the available disk
space comes to the specific volume. The volume is set to 1
through 99 % in the setup window.

[ON]: Enables the buzzer beep at the end of disk
space (0 %).
[OFF]: Disables the buzzer beep.

The JOG CLICK terminal on the rear panel is connected
with an external switch. The switch is used in either way to
click the JogDial remotely or to apply the preset mode for
manual recording.

EXT REC MODE SF-
1. Move the cursor to the desired item with [ ] and [ ]
buttons.
2. Select the appropriate parameter by rotating the
JogDial, then press it.
JOG CLICK: Switching on performs as if the JogDial is
pressed.
EXT REC: The preset EXT REC mode is applied while
the switch is turned on.
External Recording Mode

Select the mode for the manual recording when JOG/EXT
REC is set to EXT REC.

1. Move the cursor to EXT REC MODE with the [ ] or [ ]
button.
2. Select the desired mode with the JogDial. Refer to page
NN for the recording mode parameters. The default
value is SF-12H.
