Press this button to rewind or fast-forward the recorded
field. The LED lights while winding.
Press this button to move the cursor upward on the
monitor while setting up.

@1 Audio Input [AUDIO] [IN]
An RCA standard jack accepts a line input audio signal
of unbalanced –10 dB and 10 kΩ supplied from an
external device.
@2 Audio Output [AUDIO] [OUT]
An RCA standard jack supplies a line output audio sig-
nal of unbalanced –10 dB and 600 Ω to an external
device.
@3 Camera Switching Output [CAMERA SW OUT]
Connect this BNC with an external device such as a
video multiplexer receiving plural camera inputs. This
switching signal lets the connected device switch from
a camera to the other. Use this terminal only when the
recording field rate is slower than 10 fps.
@4 Video Input [VIDEO] [IN]
This BNC accepts a video signal supplied from a cam-
era or video multiplexer. A 75 Ω termination is made
unless the video output terminal is connected.
@5 Video Output [VIDEO] [OUT]
This BNC supplies a video signal looped through the
video input terminal. Connect with a monitor TV to
check the input picture.

!8 JogDial [Push –
Press the JogDial to pause while playing back or to
restart playback.
Rotate the JogDial to access to the desired frame while
rewinding, fast-forward and playing back.
Rotate the JogDial to search the oldest picture record-
ed on the disk for playing back in chronological order.
Rotate the JogDial to select the desired parameter
while setting up.
Press the JogDial to enter the selected parameter, and
to move the cursor to the next position while setting up.
Hold down the JogDial to copy still pictures to the
CompactFlash card.

@6 Monitor Output [MONITOR OUT (PLAY)]
This BNC supplies playback pictures on the hard disk,
or setup windows. Connect with a monitor TV.
@7 RS-232C Port [RS-232C]
Through this 9-pin D-Sub connector the digital disk
recorder communicates with the personal computer.
Use a reverse type cable for connection with the per-
sonal computer.
@8 Data Port [DATA]
Connect with equipment in the PS
tem controller.
@9 Mode Switch [MODE]
Use this switch for setting unit address, and initializing
all contents on the disk and setups.

Externally connected switches control major operations
on the front panel; Jog-Click, Jog-Left, Jog-Right, Alarm
Search, Step, Rew/FF, Stop/Setup, Play and REC.
#1 1 Time Adjust Terminal
IN and OUT terminals are used to synchronize internal
clock with externally connected device.
