lly inspect the
sPark plug
electrodes
for
wear.
The
center electrode
should
have
square
edges
and
the
side electrode
shou
ld have
a constant
thick
ness.
Discard
th
e spark
plug
if
there

apparent
wear
or
if t
he
insulator is
crac
ked or chipped
.
Measure
the
gap with
a
wire·type
feeler gauge
and adjust
by carefully
bending the
side electrode
