CYL INDER/ PISON
CYLINDER REMOVAL
R~move
the
cylind~r
head (Sectio n 6 ).
Remove the gasket, dowel pin, and O·ring.
Remove the cam chain guide.
NOTE
Keep the cam chain f rom falling into
the crankc8$e when removing the cvlin·
der.
Remove t he cylinder.
Remove the gasket and dowel pins .
Clean off any gasket material from the cVl in·
der surfa<:e.
NOTE
Be care
ful not to remove anv meta l
from the gasket surface.
