Restoring CX3641MFP settings

You can restore the CX3641MFP to default settings or to a group of settings that you have
already saved.

Restoring the CX3641MFP to default settings

When you restore the CX3641MFP to its default settings, all queued jobs from the
CX3641MFP and the Job Log are cleared. You must perform Setup again because the
CX3641MFP is restored with default settings.

O RESTORE THE
1 Ensure that the CX3641MFP is not receiving, processing, or printing any files.
If the system has just finished processing, wait at least five seconds after the system
reaches Idle before beginning the shutdown procedure.
2 Press the Menu button.
3 Press the down arrow to scroll, and select Run Setup.
4 Scroll down through the Setup screen, and select Factory Defaults.

Saving and restoring CX3641MFP configuration

You can save the current configuration of the CX3641MFP and restore it later, if
necessary. To save and restore settings, use Configure. For information, see Configure
Help.
The following settings are saved (if your CX3641MFP supports them):
• Settings made in Setup (except Server Name)
• Impose templates saved in the default directory for these files on the CX3641MFP
• Address books
