USER Menu

You can register arbitrary menu items from the OPERATION, PAINT, and MAINTENANCE menus in
the USER menu. You register items using the USER MENU CUSTOMIZE menu.
The USER menu consists of the following items when it is in the factory default state.
• Format Media (see page 117)
• Input/Output (see page 117)
• Rec Function (see page 119)
• Assignable SW (see page 120)
• Clip (see page 128)

USER MENU CUSTOMIZE menu

You can edit the USER menu, such as adding items, deleting items, and rearranging items, making the
USER menu more convenient to use.
You can select any item in the OPERATION menu, PAINT menu, or MAINTENANCE menu and add it
to the USER menu. Up to 20 items can be registered in the USER menu. There are six items registered in
the USER menu by factory default, one of which must always be present, allowing you to add up to 19
new items.
The USER MENU CUSTOMIZE menu has the following organization.

Note
The same item or sub-item cannot be registered twice.
Also, the name of the item or sub-item cannot be
changed.
To restore the USER menu to factory default state
Set "USER MENU CUSTOMIZE" > "Customize
Reset" in the setup menu to "Execute" and press
the MENU knob.

Restores the USER menu to factory default
state (execute using Execute)
