components are customer replaceable units (CRU) and which components are field replaceable units

Action
1. Reseat the battery.
2. Clear CMOS, see "System-board switches and
jumpers" on page 7.
3. Replace the following components one at a time,
in the order shown, restarting the server each
time:
a. Battery
b. (Trained service technician only) System
board
1. Run the Configuration/Setup Utility program,
select Load Default Settings, and save the
settings.
2. Reseat the following components, one at a time,
in the order shown, restarting the server each
time:
a. Battery
b. Failing device (if the device is a FRU, the
device must be reseated by a trained service
technician only)
3. Replace the following components one at a time,
in the order shown, restarting the server each
time:
a. Battery
b. Failing device (if the device is a FRU, the
device must be replaced by a trained service
technician only)
c. (Trained service technician only) System
board
1. Run the Configuration/Setup Utility program,
select Load Default Settings, make sure that the
date and time are correct, and save the settings.
2. Reseat the battery.
3. Clear CMOS, see "System-board switches and
jumpers" on page 7.
4. Replace the following components one at a time,
in the order shown, restarting the server each
time:
a. Battery
b. (Trained service technician only) System
board
1. Run the Configuration/Setup Utility program; then,
exit, saving the configuration settings.
2. Reseat the DIMMs.
