Firing modes

The Mastercraft
Air-powered Coil Roofing Nailer is equipped with a selective actuation system
having a switch located immediately adjacent to the trigger mechanism which is pressed for
selecting the actuation mode. The operator can choose between full sequential actuation (the switch
adjacent to the trigger pointing towards the single-nail symbol) or contact actuation (bump) (the
switch adjacent to the trigger pointing toward the two-nail symbol).
CAUTION!
Potential hazard that may result in moderate injury or damage to
equipment.
If the selected firing mode is not known, always assume that the tool is in
contact actuation (bump) mode. Failure to comply may result in moderate
injury or damage to equipment.

Contact actuation mode

1. Press the safety stand against
workpiece after setting the firing
(fig H)

2. Pull the trigger in order to drive the
nail with the safety stand pressed
firmly against the workpiece.
3. If safety stand remains pressed
against the workpiece, successive
nails will fire each time the trigger
is pulled.

Single sequential actuation mode

1. Pull the trigger after setting the firing mode
(fig I)
2. Press the safety stand against workpiece.
3. If the trigger remains pressed, successive
nails will fire each time the safety stand is
pressed against the workpiece.
