You can abort the stack at any time by touching the display. Once the stack finishes you see:
You are presented with two options: "Change Start/Stop" which is starting over with new start
and end positions. You can also press the "Run Again" button to run the stack another time.
This is useful if you finish a stack and realize the lighting isn't quite the way you want.
Here is the result of our 36 picture stack of the ant's head:
