Setting LLDP
1. Select the device to configure by clicking on it.
2. In the Configuration Area, select the System tab.
3. Under LLDP, check Enable LLDP Feature to enable the LLDP feature. This feature is
used by the device to advertise its identity, capabilities, and neighbors throughout the
network.
4. Enter a variable representing the idle time for sending of LLDP information.
Setting Networks Parameters
For setting networks parameters, see "Configuring Network Settings" on page 59.
Setting SNMP
1. Select the device to configure by clicking on it.
2. In the Configuration Area, select SNMP tab.
The Basic and Community settings are listed for configuration.
3. In the SNMP Basic Settings selection, enter a contact and location in the respective
fields.
4. In the SNMP Community Settings selection, the read-only and read-write strings are
required.
5. In the SNMP Trap Setting selection, enter the IP address of the SNMP trap server.
