Network Settings

From within the System Setup Tab, select Network Settings to open the settings window.

Once the Network Setup windows appears, you may change IP Address and all associated settings. After making
changes, you can test the network connection. This is particularly useful for the built-in online software update
function.

Note: Before setting the options in this screen, it is advisable to contact your local network administrator for the best
way to configure the console to operate within your network.
IP Address Settings
DHCP or Manual
You have the option to assign an IP Address manually (Manual) or select Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol
(DHCP). DHCP is a network protocol that enables a server to automatically assign an IP address to a computer from
a defined range of numbers (i.e., a scope) configured for a given network. DHCP assigns an IP address when a system
is started.
