Onboard Indicators

LAN1/2 Port LEDs
The Ethernet ports have two LEDs. On
each port, one LED indicates activity
and teh other indicates the speed of the
connection. It may be green, amber or
off to. See the table on the right for the
functions associated with the connection
speed LED.
Dedicated IPMI LAN Port LEDs
A dedicated IPMI LAN port is also located
on the I/O backplane. The amber LED on
the right indicates activity, while the green
LED on the left indicates the speed of the
connection. Note that the IPMI LAN does
not support 1Gbps connections. See the
table at right.
Onboard Power LED
An Onboard Power LED is located at LE2.
This LED Indicator is on when the system
is on. Be sure to unplug the AC power
cable before removing or adding any
components. See the table on the right for
more details.
BMC Heartbeat LED
The BMC Heartbeat LED is designated
LEDM1. When it is blinking, the BMC
(Baseboard Management Controller) is
functioning normally.
