Replacing a System Fan
1. Remove the chassis cover. If necessary to determine which fan has failed,
keep the power on. Then power-down the system and disconnect the chassis
power cord.
2. Remove the screws securing the fan housing to the floor of the chassis. See
the illustrations below to determine the location of the screws for the fan that is
being removed. Set these screws aside for later use.
