Chapter 1 Introduction Overview The A+ Server 2022TG-H6IBQRF/H6RF is a high-end server comprised of the SC827HQ-R1620BP 2U server chassis and with four distinct computing nodes each with the H8DGT-HLIBQF/HLF dual processor serverboard. Please refer to our web site for information on operating systems that have been certified for use with the system (www.supermicro.com).
A+ SERVER 2022TG-H6IBQRF/H6RF USER'S MANUAL Serverboard Features At the heart of the A+ Server 2022TG-H6IBQRF/H6RF lies the H8DGT-HLIBQF/HLF, a dual processor serverboard based on the SR5690/SP5100 chipset and designed to provide maximum performance. Up to four of these serverboards can be mounted in the SC827 chassis.
Note: The operating system you use must have RAID support to enable the hot- swap capability of the drives. Front Control Panel SC827 models include four front panels on the handles of the chassis which control each of the systems. Each control panel on the A+ Server 2022TG-H6IBQRF/H6RF...
Each computing node provides a low-profile expansion card slot, a COM port, a VGA port, two USB 2.0 ports, one IPMI Ethernet port, two gigabit Ethernet ports, and one Infiniband port per node (2022TG-H6IBQRF only). Cooling System The SC827 chassis accepts four system fans powered from the backplane. When Node A or Node B are powered on, both fans on the left of the chassis will run.

Chapter 3: System Interface Chapter 3 System Interface Overview There are several LEDs on the control panel and on the drive carriers to keep you constantly informed of the overall status of the system. SC827 models include four front panels on the handles of the chassis which control each of the systems. This chapter explains the meanings of all LED indicators and the appropriate response you may need to take.
A+ SERVER 2022TG-H6IBQRF/H6RF USER'S MANUAL Control Panel Button • Power: The main power button on each of the four control panels is used to apply or remove power from the power supply to each of the four systems in the chassis. Turning power to the system off with this button removes the main power, but keeps standby power supplied to the system.
Chapter 3: System Interface Control Panel LEDs The four control panels are located on the front handle of the SC827 chassis. Each control panel has two LEDs. These LEDs provide you with critical information related to different parts of the system. This section explains what each LED indicates when illuminated and any corrective action you may need to take.
A+ SERVER 2022TG-H6IBQRF/H6RF USER'S MANUAL Drive Carrier LEDs The server chassis uses SATA/SAS drives. SAS/SATA Drives Each drive carrier has two LEDs. • Blue: Each drive carrier has a Blue LED. When illuminated, this green LED (on the front of the SAS/SATA drive carrier) indicates drive activity. A connection to the SAS/SATA backplane enables this LED to blink on and off when that particular drive is being accessed.
