6.0 – USING THE SEAT WITH THE BASE
Prior to installing the infant car seat with the base, read and fully
understand Sections 4 and 5.
The car seat is secure only if:
• You correctly install the base in the vehicle.
• You correctly attach the seat to the base.

6.1 Attaching the Seat to the Base

If the infant car seat does not securely snap into the base,
the infant car seat provides NO protection for your child.
Ensure that there are no foreign objects between the car
seat and the base. DO NOT use the infant car seat or base if
the infant car seat does not securely "click" into the base.
