4.2 UNSAFE Vehicle Belt Systems DO NOT use motorized (automatic) vehicle belts, door-mounted vehicle belts, or any of the following systems to secure the infant car seat: • Lap Belts with Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR)—This lap belt will not tighten quickly enough in a sudden stop or crash.
