Answering system settings
To record a new outgoing announcement:
Using a cordless handset:
1. When the handset is in idle mode, press MENU/
enter the main menu.
Press q or p

3. Press /�ELECT again to select Announcement.

4. Press /�ELECT to select Record annc. The system announces,
MENU
"Record after the tone. Press 5 when you are done."
5. Speak towards the handset to record your announcement. Press 5 to end
recording. Your recorded announcement plays.
To listen to the recorded announcement again, scroll to �lay annc and press
/�ELECT.

Using the telephone base:
1. When the telephone base is in idle mode, press
/RECORD.

press /�ELECT. The system announces, "Record
