Rename handset

The default handset name is HAND�ET. You can create your own handset
name for each system handset.
1. When the handset is idle, press MENU/

• Use the dialing keys and the chart on page 56 to enter
a name (up to 11 characters). Press a key repeatedly
until the desired character appears on the screen.

There is a confirmation tone.

The handset is set to beep with each key press. You can adjust the key tone
volume or turn it off. If you turn off the key tone, there are no beeps when
you press keys.
