Cabling the S1 and S2 Slots with AT-SP10TW Direct Connect Cables

This section contains the procedure for installing AT-SP10TW direct
connect cables in the S1 and S2 slots of the switches of the stack. Please
review "Stacking Guidelines" on page 59 before connecting the cables.
For wiring examples, refer to Figure 17 on page 60 and Figure 18 on page
61

A transceiver can be damaged by static electricity. Be sure to
observe all standard electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions,
such as wearing an antistatic wrist strap, to avoid damaging the
device.
To cable the S1 and S2 ports with AT-SP10TW direct connect cables,
perform the following procedure:
1. Remove the dust plug from either the S1 or S2 slot on the first switch
of the stack. Figure 71 shows the dust cover being removed from slot
S1.

2. Remove the AT-SP10TW direct connect cable from its shipping
container and store the packaging material in a safe location.
3. Remove the dust cap from a connector on the cable. Refer to Figure
72 on page 141.
