About this Guide
This guide describes installation, operation, and control procedures, and reference
information for the FOX T USW 203 Universal Switcher with an integrated fiber optic
transmitter. In this guide, the terms "FOX T USW 203" and "switcher" are used
interchangeably to refer to any model of the FOX T USW 203 Universal Switcher in
singlemode or multimode.
About the FOX T USW 203 Universal Switcher
The Extron FOX T USW 203 is a three input universal switcher with an integrated fiber optic
transmitter that provides long haul transmission of HDCP-compliant HDMI, RGBHV, or HD
component video, stereo audio, and RS-232 signals over fiber optic cabling. It delivers
pixel-for-pixel transmission of images up to 1920x1200 and 2K, including HDTV 1080p
@ 60 Hz.
To configure and control the FOX T USW 203, connect a computer and enter Simple
Instruction Set (SIS) commands (see
