Wechsel des Netzteils A4, A6

Hinweis für Drucker bis Serien-Nr. 14999
Bei Defekt des Original-Netzteils A4/A6, Art.-Nr. 5943201,
erhalten Sie das Netzteilset 2 (Art.-Nr. 5946564). Mit dem
Netzteilset 2 wird ihr Drucker auf die Original-Netzteil-
Umgebung A4/A6 ab Drucker-Serien-Nr. 15000 umgerüstet.
Vorab muss die Firmware des Druckers auf Version 2.93
oder höher aktualisiert werden.
Für das Wechseln des Netzteils bei Druckern ab Serien-Nr.
15000 können Sie mit Abschnitt 4.9.2 fortfahren.

Ausbauen der Original-Netzteilumgebung
Lebensgefahr!
Trennen Sie den Drucker vom Netzanschluss
sonst besteht Lebensgefahr durch
spannungsführende Leiter im Innern des
geöffneten Druckers!
Das Netzteil hält im eingeschalteten Zustand
kondensatorbedingt eine Spannung von bis zu 380 V.
Diese Spannung klingt innerhalb einer Minute nach dem
Abschalten des Druckers bzw. Netzteils auf ungefährli-
che Werte (< 42 V) ab. Während der Entladezeit des
Kondensators (Elko) von ca. einer Minute besteht
jedoch die Gefahr auch nach dem Abschalten des
Netzteils!
Bitte beachten Sie diese Gefährdung!

1. Aktualisieren Sie die Firmware des Druckers auf
Version 2.93 oder höher.
2. Trennen Sie den Drucker vom Netzanschluss!
Beachten Sie den Hinweis auf die Kondensator-
ladung im Netzteil!
3. Demontieren Sie die Rückwand.
4. Bauen Sie die Leiterplatte CPU gemäß Abschnitt 4.7
aus.
5. Lösen Sie die Flachbandleitung (2) der Etikettenlicht-
schranke aus den Kabelhaltern (3).
6. Entfernen Sie die zwei Schrauben (1) und nehmen
Sie das Abdeckblech (4) ab.

Notice for printers up to serial no. 14999
In case of a defective Power Supply, part no. 5943201, you
have to replace the complete original power supply section
by Power Supply Set 2 (part no. 5946564). With this set
your printer is changed over onto power supply sections for
A4/A6 printers with serial no. from 15000.
Before replacing the power supply you must update the
printer firmware to version 2.93 or higher.
For replacing the Power Supply of printers with serial
number 15000 or higher you can skip to section 4.9.2 .
4.9.1
Removing the original Power Supply Section
While switched-on, the power unit has a voltage of up to
380 V as a function of the capacitor. However, when the
printer or power unit is switched off, this voltage falls to
non dangerous levels (< 42 V) within one minute.
Nevertheless, there remains a danger for about one
minute after the power pack has been switched off
while the capacitor is discharging!
Please be aware of these hazards!

Danger to life and limb!
Disconnect the printer from the mains
connection, otherwise there is a risk to life
and limb from the live wires inside the open
printer!

Removing the original Power Supply Section I
1. Update the printer firmware to version 2.93 or higher
2. Disconnect the printer from the mains connection.
Pay attention to the notice regarding the capacitor
charge in the power unit.
3. Remove the rear cover of the printer.
4. Dismount the PCB CPU as described in section 4.7 .
5. Free the flat ribbon cable (2) for the label edge sensor
from the cable holders (3).
6. Remove the two screws (1) and remove the cover
plate (4).
