Connecting the mouse and keyboard set

Depending on the model, the scope of supply of your machine includes a wireless mouse
and keyboard set or a mouse and keyboard set with cables.

The correct radio connection code is factory pre-set and the mouse and keyboard
set is immediately ready for operation. If nevertheless you encounter connection
problems, the instructions for establishing the connection can be found in Chapter
"Re-establishing the radio connection to the Keyboard Set if required", Page

► Connect the mouse and keyboard each to a USB port on your machine.
The mouse and keyboard are immediately ready for operation.

printer, scanner, modem or keyboard).
USB devices are hot-pluggable. This means you can connect and disconnect
USB cables while your device is switched on.

Device drivers
The external USB devices you connect to the USB ports usually require no
driver of their own, as the required software is already included in the operating
system. However, if the external USB device requires its own software, please
install it from the data carrier provided with the USB device.
To ensure USB 2.0, the length of the cable used between the front USB port of
your device and the external USB device must not exceed 3 m.
