Message List - Avaya 3725 User Manual

In the display appears the telephone number of the sender (where given) and the message, e.g.
5371 Meeting in room 109.
While the message remains visible, you have the following options:
Deactivate the ringing tone
Press the Sound off button.
Cancel the message in the display
Press Soft key Clear. The message goes to the message list. In the idle display mail is shown.
Delete the message totally
Press the 0 key.
Manual confirmation
Important messages are preceded by an exclamation mark,
e.g. ! Meeting. These must be manually confirmed.
Manual confirmation, negative
The display shows a message with an exclamation mark, e.g. ! Meeting in room 109.
1. Press the * key (long), then Soft key Message to, and then * (short) and * again (short).
OK appears in the display.
Manual confirmation, positive
The display shows a message with an exclamation mark, e.g. ! Meeting in room 109.
1. Press Soft key Clear.
+++OK appears in the display.

Message list

Every entry in the message list includes the sender number, text, date and time of the last
message and the number of attempts.
You may call back from the list.
If MAIL appears in the idle display (in capitals), you have unread messages. The list must then
be checked!
1. Enter the menu by pressing the Menu Soft key, or the confirmation button on the
Navigation key.
2. Select Messaging icon.
3. Press the confirmation button or the Soft key Select.
