5-10 Onboard Indicators

LAN Port LEDs

The LAN1/2 and the dedicated IPMI Eth-
ernet ports all have two LEDs. One LED
indicates activity when blinking while
the other LED may be green, amber or
off to indicate the speed of the connec-
tion. See the table on the right for the
functions associated with the connection
speed LED.

Rear UID LED

The rear UID LED (LE1) is located on
the near the rear I/O ports. This LED is
used in conjunction with the UID switch
to provide easy identification of a system
in a server rack.

Onboard Power LED

An Onboard Power LED is located at
LE2 on the serverboard. When this LED
is on, the system is on. Be sure to turn
off the system and unplug the power
cord before removing or installing com-
ponents. See the table at right for more
information.

BMC Heartbeat LED

A BMC Heartbeat LED is located at
LEDM1 on the ser verboard. When
LEDDM1 is blinking, BMC functions
normally. See the table at right for more
information.
